ProFound Drill Solutions and “The wonder of Utrecht”

It's no secret that our drill tips are travelling all around the world. And our latest story involves almost 1,000 drill tips being used on a striking "green project" in the middle of the city of Utrecht, the Netherlands: Wonderwoods.

One thing is for sure: you will be captivated by the two eye-catching green, modern towers. This unique building will be covered with no fewer than 10,000 trees and shrubs, making it the green and sustainable heart of Utrecht's new "Healthy Urban Quarter". It will be a genuine urban ecosystem, creating an annual production of no less than 41 tons of oxygen. The "vertical forest of Utrecht", as it is also known, aims to unite nature and the city with the goal of ensuring a healthier life. The building will be used for various purposes, ranging from living, working, and relaxation to culture and catering. Wonderwoods is scheduled to open in 2023.
